Making French law easier to work with.
I'm Charalampos, a digital law student at the Université de Caen, building AI tools for tax, company law and legal research.
What I work on
Four areas where legal knowledge and AI meet in my projects.
Legal research
Finding the right article or court decision fast, with a chatbot that searches French legal sources.
Tax and company law tools
Simulators and document readers for real questions: which tax regime to choose, what a Kbis says.
Legal monitoring
Following new legislation and case law as it's published and summarising what changed.
AI regulation
The EU AI Act and what it means for people building AI, legal tools included.
Projects
All on Hugging Face ↗Le Digeste
A legal watch for French and EU law: sources from Légifrance, Judilibre, EUR-Lex and HAL, ranked by importance, with AI summaries from a local model.
French Legal Chatbot
Calculate income tax, find an article or a court decision, or upload a Kbis extract to have it analysed.
IA Droit Français
Compares three tax regimes for French sole traders from your activity, turnover, expenses and household situation.
Who am I?
I'm Charalampos Kapsoulis, a Master 1 student in digital law at the Université de Caen who spends most of his free time building with AI. I focus on French law, where many everyday questions have clear answers that are buried in dense texts.
My tools try to dig those answers out faster, and I'm just as interested in the rules being written for AI itself, especially the EU AI Act.
Need someone who speaks both law and code?
Internships, projects, or a conversation about legal tech. I'd like to hear from you.
